MY BACKGROUND
I'm a senior studying Supply Chain Management at Indiana University. I have always had a passion for painting. However, I can only fit so many canvases in my tiny "college kid" apartment. Growing up, my parents supported my artistic passions maybe a little too openly. I came home one afternoon in the Summer before my Sophomore year of High School and painted my entire bedroom grey. Dark grey. Unfortunately, no amount of lighting could overpower the deep shade I had bought from Lowe's. Within a month, I started drawing on the walls with white markers and paint to brighten up my room. And so Grey Bedroom Painting Company began. I have since renamed to avoid to confusion with the book "50 Shades of Grey" (haha) and I now try to limit myself to canvases and other socially acceptable art surfaces, but am open to any and all requests : )
Painting inspires me because there is so much potential with a blank canvas. I enjoy taking on new challenges and would love to do any canvas requests that you send in. Although I'm no Picasso, neither are my prices. I don't believe that artwork needs to be expensive. It's more fun for me to just paint and relax with friends as opposed to making an extra few bucks.
